This solid walnut wood sculpture resembles a Polish bagel from Krakow, but I realized that after I made it. An obwarzanek krakowski taditionally sold from street carts, it is a popular snack in the Polish city of Kraków, where it has the status of a regional food with protected geographical indication. Its surface is formed by strands of dough, round or oval in cross-section, twisted into a spiral. Dimensions: H: 38 cm/15” W: 27 cm/10.6”
